Something that I noticed in Hollywood is that you can count on one hand the number of Black superheroes shown on screen. My goal is to be the action film star to inspire the next generation of Black kids to be the best version of themselves.
A lot of people had their dreams stifled — at home, at school, at work — because they never had a walking example of someone who set a goal and went after it. As a big brother and uncle, that is what I want to be for the young kings and queens in my life.
When I die, my goal is for people to look at my life and be inspired by the mindset. I have always swung for the fences. They can turn on the TV and see me on three different shows — and there is still more I need to accomplish.

Football field — where the discipline started
Division III football taught the thing acting rarely can: how a body behaves when it is exhausted, outmatched and still expected to perform.
Tash Jordan is a New York City–born, Los Angeles–based actor and producer working at the intersection of athleticism and craft. A Division III football background and a theatre degree show up in the same performance: physical, grounded, precise under pressure.
He builds as well as performs — developing and producing his own action material, and pitching proof-of-concept work inside studio environments including Sony Pictures. The through-line is the same on either side of the camera: make the physical work carry the character.
